  • This web page contains a discussion of the various temporary and permanet visas. Temporary visas, called nonimmigrant visas, include the B visa, E visa, F visa, H visa, I visa, and the L visa. There is also a discussion of the employment based permanent residence visas and family based permanent visas.
  • This web page further contains a discussion of estate planning, trsuts, wills, and probate.Various estate planing options are discussed and the use of trusts in estate planning. Also death taxes and probate procedure are explained. The difference between a will and trust is also discussed.

  • CHARITY EVENT IN LAS VEGAS DECEMBER 9, 2011
    Mr. Takata attended the charity event held at the Venetian Hotel for the One Step Closer Foundation on December 9, 2011.  It was a fund event and there were many celebrities attending including Davis Zayas, star of the hit TV series Dexter on Showtime, and Montel Williams, well known talk show host.  Also, Jacob is friends with many pretty ladies.  The foundation helps to fund research to advance the cure of Cerebral Palsy.  The director is Jacob Zawelski who has cerbral palsy but is able to lead a fairly normal life.  Mr. Takata took a photo of the beautiful Christmas…

  • GO FOR BROKE DINNER , BEVERLY HILLS, CA
    The annual Go for Broke dinner was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Saturday November 5, 2011.  It was a great success with about 1000 people attending.  The event was sold out weeks in advance.  The dinner honors the Japanese American US Army World War II 442 and MIS veterans.  This year was special because the President awarded the veterans the Congressional Medal of Honor.  A photo of this medal appears below.  The dinner was hosted by ABC news announced David Ono who produced a moving video of the valor of the 442 Unit soldiers.  Daniel…

  • ASIA AMERICA SYMPHONY DINNER - LOS ANGELES OCTOBER 9, 2011
    The Asian American Symphony Association celebrated its 50th Anniversary at the Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday October 9, 2011.  It was a gala event with many celebrities and VIPs in attendance.  The dinner honored the founders of the Asia American Symphony Guild and Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc.  The Asia America Youth Orchestra performed several songs with conductor David Benoit.  Mr. Benoit is a world famous jazz musician and composer noted for composing the famous Charlie Brown/Snoopy music. The orchestra performed an original composition of Mr. Benoit titled Native Californian.  All that attended had a wonderful time.…

  • GO FOR BROKE ANNUAL DINNER SET FOR SATURDAY NOVEMBER 5, 2011
    The annual Go for Broke National Education Center's 10th Annual Evening of Aloha will be held on Saturday November 5, 2011 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California to honor the awarding of the Congressional Gold Medal by President Barack Obama to the Japanese American soldiers of World War II who served in the 100th Infantry Batalion, the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, and the Military Intelligence Service.   Previous awards have gone to General Douglas MacArthur, the Tuskegee Airmen, and the Navajo Code Talkers.  Toyota Motors is the main sponsor of the event and will be raffling off a…

  • ROYAL WEDDING IS WORLDWIDE NEWS
    The whole world watched as Prince William and Princess Kate were married on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey in England. It was a storybook affair with the Prince and Princess looking marvelous.  About ten years ago, Mr. Takata attended a charity dinner at a private home in Encino, California.  The featured guests were Prince Edward and Princess Sophie of England.  The purpose of the event was for the royal couple to promote their worldwide children's charity.  It is not well known that the royal family is involved in numerous charities around the world and supports worthy causes.  Shown below…
